Lior Arbel

 

I’m an inventor and designer of musical instruments and a PhD candidate at the Technical/Industrial Design program. During my PhD I developed a new instrument - The Symbaline: a wine glass instrument that connects to other instruments (like a guitar, keyboard etc.) and generates glass sounds with different tones and effects. I also design and build electric guitars. My interests include new musical instruments, both acoustic and electric, sympathetic and active instruments in specific, electric guitars and anything to do with music, sound and technology. I’m always happy to meet designers and inventors and get exposed to new projects and ideas.
